1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open it to page 161.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
5. Don't search around and look for the coolest book you can find. Use what's actually next to you.

"I'm bound for Papeete, Tahiti, but I guess I'd better make a detour and set you folks on the nearest island with an airport." Valhalla Rising - Clive Cussler

I was actually holding my copy of the Silmarillion when I read that. So.

"Now Maeglin and his mother were free for a while to go where they wished, and they rode often to the eaves of the wood, seeking the sunlight; and desire grew hot in Maeglin's house to leave Nan Elmoth for ever."

An update of my journal itself is so rare these days that I feel constrained to save it for times when I have something to say. Hence the comment.

I am weak; but surely the spirits who assist my vengeance will endow me with sufficient strength.

I am having a Pure Romance party, Tuesday April 25th at 7pm. Call me to RSVP (either way so I stop bugging you) and get address/directions.

Love heather
